The purpose of this Code of Ethics is to establish general guidelines for conduct that guide the professional behavior of all individuals who are part of Eversia, ensuring compliance with current legislation at all times.
It provides a set of principles and rules for interacting with all of Eversia’s stakeholders, so that everyone within the company acts consistently with its values, policies, and overall objectives, always prioritizing human relationships and work ethics.

Management will promote and strengthen proper practices derived from this Code across the various areas of management and stakeholder engagement. It will also demonstrate its responsibility in implementing the system and in the continuous improvement of its effectiveness through the following means:

Establishing and communicating an Integrated Management System (IMS) policy at all levels, expressing a public commitment to uphold ethical values and ensuring that everyone in the organization identifies with them.

To ensure the effectiveness of this Code, Eversia S.A.’s Management will implement actions that enable monitoring and compliance, including:

Hiring must always be based on qualifications and job-related competencies. In the case of family relationships, employees must inform the HR department.

HR and Occupational Health & Safety will conduct workplace climate surveys to ensure a positive working environment.

Respect the dignity of each employee and take action in response to behaviors that directly undermine that dignity. This applies in both recruitment and promotion processes, following established protocols (Equality Plan and Workplace Harassment Policy), led by Eversia’s Equality Officer.

Establish a fair compensation policy, maintaining mechanisms to inform employees about their salary and ensuring transparency in remuneration.

Respect the right to unionize and the right to collective bargaining. The Works Council meets with HR to address employee needs and proposals.

Respect the right to digital disconnection. A Digital Disconnection Protocol is in place.

Provide work environments and job positions designed according to universal design and global accessibility criteria, preventing discrimination based on disability. Currently, 2% of Eversia’s workforce comprises people with disabilities.

No employee shall accept gifts or similar items that could result in preferential treatment for specific suppliers or subcontractors.

Ethically comply with all legal obligations (tax, labor, etc.) and with Social Security, ensuring the timely and diligent submission of declarations and documentation.

Reject any indication of corruption aimed at obtaining favorable treatment from public authorities, as well as any form of extortion or bribery. A professional relationship will be maintained with all bodies and representatives of the Public Administration and political authorities.

Support suppliers and partners by selecting, among those offering the best products and services, those who promote social economy development, employ disadvantaged groups, and adhere to a code of ethical conduct.

Eversia respects agreements and consistently meets payment deadlines. Relationships with suppliers who tolerate child exploitation or any form of labor abuse are avoided.

Base relationships with suppliers on respect, trust, support, and mutual loyalty.

Require suppliers to fulfill agreed terms regarding deadlines, pricing, and quality, while committing to meeting our own obligations within the established terms and conditions, and to upholding key human rights standards.

Prioritize suppliers who promote ethical and dignified working conditions, and who maintain a preventive approach focused on environmental protection.

Unfair competition practices will not be carried out, nor will false, manipulated, or misleading information about competitors be disseminated. Similarly, any information about competing companies will be obtained solely through legal means.
We will refrain from promoting or entering into agreements that unlawfully or improperly restrict competition (such as price-fixing or market-sharing agreements).

Support social development projects and promote societal progress by creating well-being and generating employment.

Respect human rights and public freedoms as recognized in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Do not engage in any form of discrimination and do not tolerate child labor or any kind of labor abuse—this commitment also extends to all suppliers and partner companies.

Act in accordance with laws and regulations. Bribery, whether involving third parties and the company or its staff, will not be tolerated.

Ensure the safety of facilities and minimize their environmental impact.

Optimize the use of raw materials and natural resources, reduce waste generation, and promote recycling and reuse. Waste is collected and recycled appropriately.

Prevent negative impacts of our activity on ecosystems within our area of influence.

Promote the saving of energy, water, and IT resources. Waste is collected and recycled. Eversia has an Energy Committee dedicated to driving these efforts.
Eversia commits, as a general principle for all stakeholders, to confidentially address, manage, and resolve all suggestions, complaints, claims, and reports received regarding non-compliance with Eversia’s commitments.
If any employee detects a potential breach or has doubts about whether a certain behavior complies with this Code, it is their duty to report it to the Human Resources Department and/or through the anonymous whistleblowing channel.
In every case, a fair and equitable resolution will be provided for all parties involved.

- Each member of Eversia is committed to reading, understanding, and complying with this Code of Ethics, and to reminding colleagues of its rules and principles.
All employees receive a training session on the Code of Ethics during their onboarding, conducted by the Human Resources Department, and must sign a confirmation of receipt. - Any exception to the principles and rules outlined in this Code must be authorized in advance and in writing by Eversia’s Management Committee.
- All questions regarding the interpretation, scope, or application of the Code should be directed to the Human Resources Department for clarification.
- The principles and behavioral standards contained in this Code of Ethics are mandatory. Their implementation, as well as the supervision and control of compliance, will be ensured.
- Anyone who has doubts about the application of the Code or who observes a situation that may represent a breach or violation of its ethical principles or behavioral standards must report it to the Human Resources Department, which will act within its consultative responsibilities or address any reports of non-compliance.
Any inquiry or report must include, at a minimum, the following information:

In the case of an inquiry, the specific section of the Code for which clarification or interpretation is requested, along with a detailed description of the subject matter.

In the case of a report, a clear account of the situation, including, where possible, any supporting evidence or indications.
The individuals responsible for the alleged misconduct should also be identified.
The whistleblowing channel is anonymous and does not require the identification of the person submitting the inquiry or report.
The Human Resources Department will review and resolve all received inquiries and reports within a maximum of two months, providing the response deemed most appropriate in each case. All actions will be carried out with complete independence, full respect for those involved, and total confidentiality in handling the reports and inquiries.
All Eversia staff members are obliged to cooperate in any investigations carried out regarding potential breaches of the Code.
