We welcomed the visit of the Regional Ministry of Business, Employment and Social Economy

Eversia welcomed the Regional Minister of Business, Employment and Social Economy of the Region of Murcia, María Isabel López Aragón, to its new Lorquí plant, accompanied by the Director General for Consumer Affairs, Alberto Sánchez Campillo, and the Director General for Trade Promotion, Business Innovation and Craft Industries, Rafael Gómez Carrasco.

The visit took place at the company’s new facilities, a modern industrial complex designed to meet the technological, production and environmental challenges facing the packaging sector in the coming years.

During the tour of the plant, the Eversia team shared with the institutional delegation the company’s roadmap, focused on developing sustainable packaging solutions, strengthening industrial innovation and outlining the strategic goals that will guide phase two of Eversia’s full relocation to Lorquí.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to analyse the current situation of the sector, including labour market trends both nationally and within the Region of Murcia, as well as the impact of the current geopolitical context on supply chains and the packaging industry.

The institutional visit was part of a working day organised within the framework of ReCAIB, a leading platform in Spain dedicated to monitoring and training related to compliant plastic bags in line with Royal Decree 293/2018. After visiting Eversia, the delegation continued the programme with a visit to Walki Plasbel, where a training session was held for inspectors on the correct identification of compliant plastic bags.

At Eversia we continue working to promote innovation, sustainable production and quality employment, helping to strengthen the Region of Murcia as a leading industrial hub in the circular economy.
