The European Project BIOMAC Successfully Concludes

After more than three years of research, innovation, and international collaboration, Eversia has concluded its participation in BIOMAC.

An ambitious project funded by the European Commission through the H2020 program, BIOMAC has driven the development of sustainable bio-based nanomaterials.

BIOMAC brought together more than 30 partners from 12 countries, including universities, technology centers, business associations, and industrial companies, with the goal of accelerating the market uptake of advanced and circular materials applicable to sectors such as packaging, automotive, construction, and electronics.

At Eversia, we actively contributed by developing PLA-based compostable films for sustainable packaging, collaborating on their technical validation and industrial scale-up. This represents another step in our commitment to responsible innovation and the circular economy.

Through initiatives like this, we continue to explore the possibilities of the materials of the future, committed to building a packaging industry that is cleaner, safer, and more environmentally friendly.
